YOGA & MINDFULNESS
Sessions are available for the whole family or as 1:1 sessions with your child, and draw on the Hatha-Vinyasa practice , a gentle blend of steady, strength-building poses and flowing, breath-led movement. The slower Hatha elements, like breathwork and grounding postures, can help build body awareness and improve posture, while the Vinyasa sequences bring in rhythm and focus. Together, they give children the space to tune into how their bodies feel and pick up practical tools for calm that they can actually use in everyday life.
Grounding, nurturing and protecting a child’s nervous system is central to their growth and development. Also , research shows that children make remarkable developmental leaps when their parents are calm and regulated - just 15 minutes of a parent’s high-quality presence outperforms hours of structured activities.
Sessions can be purely focused on mindfulness and wellbeing, or tailored to weave in specific occupational therapy goals, whatever works best for your child.
Over time, children can find better balance, improved concentration, and a growing sense of confidence and ease in themselves.
SEN STRATEGY SERVICES
From the moment you receive a diagnosis or understand your child has a need, you're thrown into the deep end, navigating complex systems without a roadmap.
Coordinating your child's care can quickly become a full-time job in itself; sourcing therapists, communicating with schools and other bodies, implementing strategies across different settings, and managing what can feel like endless paperwork - and that's before an EHCP is even on the table.
It's an exhausting way of life that very few people truly understand. It can steal precious moments of childhood, push friendships to the sidelines, and for many parents, it comes at the cost of their career too.
This services are designed specifically with SEN families in mind, with a particular focus on Autism and ADHD, supporting you at every stage of the journey. Whether you're working through an EHCP application, trying to make sense of therapist reports, or just need someone to pull it all into a plan that actually works in real life - I'm here for that.
Everything I do is rooted in a whole child approach, making sure that everyone around your child is speaking the same language, and that every decision truly reflects your child's unique needs and your family as a whole.
With the right support in place, the late nights spent chasing professionals, coordinating provision, and trying to implement strategies alone become a thing of the past. I act as your single point of contact, keeping communication streamlined, managing the flow of information, and checking in regularly.
Designing provisions
I design your child's provision by setting clear, achievable goals for each intervention so you can see real progress. This means recommending and resourcing the right therapists and practitioners to deliver that provision, coordinating their work, and managing your relationships with everyone involved, from local authorities to schools, delivering consistent, joined-up support that adapts whenever life demands it, whether that's a new sibling, a house move, or a change of school.
Environmental design
Together, we can create and implement recommended strategies within your home in a way that feels manageable - not overwhelming. This might look like building speech and language routines into your day, sourcing and setting up occupational therapy equipment, or creating simple systems like labelled drawers to make morning routines smoother. I also work directly with schools to design and embed the same environmental strategies in the classroom - ensuring consistency across every setting so your child has the predictability they need to generalise their skills and truly grow.
Translating therapists reports
I help translate therapist and specialist reports into clear, practical guidance you can confidently act on. Rather than leaving you with technical language or uncertainty, I explain what the findings mean for your child day to day and how a supportive plan would look in practice. This includes outlining realistic strategies, clarifying expectations, and identifying the school’s role in delivering appropriate provision, so you can move forward with a shared understanding and a clear sense of direction
EHCP Applications
Navigating the EHCP application process can often feel overwhelming. I support families at every stage, from the initial application through to reviews and appeals so you never have to face it alone. Depending on your needs, I can co-write the application with you, guide you in writing it yourself, or review and strengthen a draft you’ve already prepared. The goal is always the same : to create a clear, compelling submission that truly reflects your child’s needs and gives it the best possible chance of success.
Building and coordinating a multidisciplinary team
This is achieved by building a joined-up way of working across the MDT, where professionals actively collaborate, share insight, and align their input so that the different areas of need are brought together into one clear, coordinated plan.
I can also help to identify and recruit the right professionals for your child, ensuring interventions are adjusted to available resources and that everyone's input is brought together so information is clearly shared, allowing each part of the plan to work in harmony to meet your child's unique needs.
Whether you're looking for a one-off consultation or an ongoing consultancy plan, I have affordable options to suit you. Give me a call for a free 15-minute chat - I'd love to hear about your situation and find the best way to help.
THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT PRACTITIONERS
Our Therapeutic Support Practitioners work 1:1 with your child, bringing therapist-led strategies to life in a way that feels natural and supportive in their everyday routine. Taking guidance directly from clinical specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, they help your child develop skills in social communication, emotional regulation, sensory processing, physical development and much more. The goal is simple, to make sure your child's support feels consistent, joined-up, and genuinely meaningful day to day.
And while your child is in safe, expert hands, you get to breathe, whether that's ticking off that to-do list, finally sorting the spare room or simple having a coffee in peace.
